Open Brain REST API source labeling: The /capture endpoint in open-brain-mcp/index.ts (line 267) hardcodes source: "chatgpt" for all POST requests. This means Gmail bridge captures also show as source "chatgpt" since the Apps Script POSTs to the same endpoint. No emails are actually being forwarded through ChatGPT. To distinguish Gmail vs ChatGPT captures in the future, the Apps Script could pass a source field in the POST body and the edge function could respect it instead of hardcoding. Low priority, cosmetic only.

Open Brain Session 15 complete - Gmail bridge blocklist + database cleanup: Added sender/subject pattern filtering to Gmail Apps Script (BLOCKED_SENDERS, BLOCKED_SUBJECT_PATTERNS, ALLOWED_SENDERS). Fixed Apps Script V8 compatibility (replaced for...of/const with traditional loops/var). Deleted 103 junk email thoughts from database (marketing, newsletters, status alerts, security notifications), kept 9 legitimate entries (Wesley Tingle client email, Lauren shop bills, Belzel Books order, storage/utility payments, Later Analytics report). 300 thoughts remaining. Also repaired corrupted .git directory (iCloud sync broke object storage), re-cloned from GitHub. Key finding: junk emails came through ChatGPT GPT path (source: "chatgpt"), not the Apps Script label system.

[Session Log] Notion → Open Brain bridge: Built and tested the Notion sync pipeline. Queried Notion Projects database (ID: 2ced1125-90e3-8162-ae59-d5720c2b86ff) and successfully pushed 2 test projects into Open Brain. Set up a local Cowork scheduled task (daily 4am) and saved cloud task instructions at reference/instructions/notion-sync-cloud-task.md for future migration to Claude Code cloud scheduled tasks. Key finding: TATTOO HQ page uses linked database views — must query source databases directly (Projects DB: 2ced1125-90e3-8162-ae59-d5720c2b86ff, Intake Submissions DB: 2cfd1125-90e3-8097-8aae-db0565f33a77). Open Brain Session 13 - Built action item tracking with auto-resolution. New action_items table tracks open/resolved status across all capture paths. When a new thought comes in, gpt-4o-mini checks it against open items and auto-closes matches. Digest upgraded from gpt-4o-mini to Claude Sonnet via OpenRouter for better narrative synthesis. Backfilled 384 items from thought metadata, cleaned down to 26 genuine open items. Gmail bridge spam contamination identified as root cause of most noise. "done:" Slack command available as manual fallback.

Wesley Tingle's 2nd session for the Tiger Dragon back piece is booked. Sunday April 5th, 1pm-8pm background session. Confirmed and on the calendar. Also completed the full verification pass syncing all receipt files against the Notion Shop Expenses and Shop Bills databases.
